OUR STORY

From over two decades of service on the force, I’ve stood at memorials for fallen brothers and sisters, witnessed grief alongside families, and longed for a more dignified tribute than what tape or makeshift covers could offer. Over time, as badge-styles changed and cloth insignias became more common, the need for a respectful solution became clear

We believe every band we create is more than an accessory — it’s a “thank you,” a remembrance, a silent salute.

WHY MOURNING BANDS

  • A solemn symbol of respect. In many departments and first-responder communities, badge mourning bands — typically black elastic or magnetic bands — are a long-standing tradition to mark loss, pay tribute, or honor fallen heroes. Memento Mori
  • Adapts to changing uniforms. As badge styles evolve — from metal to cloth, embroidered patches, or magnetic-mount badges — standard mourning-band options no longer suffice. We provide tailored solutions so that respect and reverence remain intact, regardless of uniform changes
  • For first responders and those who support them. Our bands aren’t only for officers themselves. Family members, fellow first responders, and supporters of public safety can wear them to show solidarity, honor sacrifice, and remember lives lost.
  • Customization & personal tribute. Through custom cuts, magnetic bands, and specialized color/honor-line options (e.g. Thin Blue Line, first-responder tribute lines), our bands can be personalized — making each one unique to the individual or unit being honored.
